Are your strings feeling "dead" or "loose" in tension? Even if your strings are not broken, Matt recommends rackets to be frequently restrung to improve performance and playability.
A lower tension promotes increased power, durability and feel. A higher tension allows for greater control.
The higher the gauge number, the thinner the string. Thin string allows for greater feel, while thicker string provides increased durability.
